Our story

Built on the honor system

Farm Stand Guide exists because the best food in America is sold from little wooden stands on back roads — and they deserve a map, a megaphone, and more company.

Why farm stands?

There's something quietly radical about a farm stand: food picked that morning, a cash box on the honor system, and a wave from the porch if anyone's home. We started Farm Stand Guide to celebrate that — and to help more people find stands near them, and more growers take the leap and build one.

Everything here serves those two missions: the map for the finders, and the plans, guides, and (soon) the book for the builders.

  • Fresh & local

Nothing on a farm stand spent a week on a truck. We think that's worth driving the long way home for.

  • Built by hand

Every plan we sell has real cut lists and beginner-friendly steps — because the best stand is the one you actually build.

  • Neighborly

Honor boxes work because most people are good. Farm stands prove it daily, one tomato at a time.
